FAQ

Everything you need to open your first box.

Getting started

What is Lootz?

Lootz is a multichain 3D loot box game. You pick your favorite network and a box, pay in that network's native coin, and watch it open. Every box pays out in crypto, sent straight to your wallet.

Do I need an account?

No. Your wallet is your account. Connect it to play. A free signature (no fee) is only asked for a few things: editing your profile, opening a free box, or revealing your seed on the Fairness page.

Which wallets work?

Most popular wallets for Solana and EVM networks, including browser extensions and mobile wallets through WalletConnect. You can also sign in with email or a social account to create a wallet.

Which networks and coins can I use?

Lootz currently runs on Solana (SOL), Base (ETH), BNB Chain (BNB), Robinhood Chain (ETH), Polygon (POL) and Arbitrum (ETH), and more networks are added over time. Box prices are set in USD and you pay the equivalent in the native coin of the network you pick.

How much does a box cost?

Boxes come in three sizes: Bronze, Silver and Gold. Each has a fixed USD price, shown on the Play page together with the amount in your coin. Prizes grow with the box, so a Gold box pays out more than a Bronze one.

Who can play?

Adults aged 18 or over, where online games of chance are legal. You are responsible for checking the rules where you live.

Boxes and prizes

Can a box be empty?

No. Every box pays out, so you never walk away empty handed. Prizes range from part of the box price to huge multiples, and every box is different. Only play with money you are comfortable spending.

How many boxes can I open at once?

Up to 10 boxes in one payment. Each box gets its own result and the total prize is sent in one transfer.

What if I close the page while a box is opening?

Your boxes are safe. Once your payment is confirmed the result is fixed and your prize is sent on its own. Come back to the Play page to finish watching, or see the result in your history.

What is a Mystery box?

A bonus a free box can pay instead of coins: 1 to 3 Mystery boxes. They wait in Your boxes, each with a timer. When the timer ends, open it on the Play page like any other box.

Payments and payouts

How do I get my winnings?

Automatically. The prize is sent to the wallet that paid for the box, usually within moments. There is nothing to claim.

Why is the price in my coin a little different each time?

Boxes are priced in USD. When you open a box you get a short quote that converts the USD price into your network's coin at the current rate. Pay within the quote window and that price is locked.

Are there any fees?

Box prices already include everything. A small protocol fee is described in the Terms. You only pay the normal network fee for your transaction.

What if I send the wrong amount or my payment arrives late?

Payments that cannot be matched to a quote are reviewed by hand. If a refund is due it is sent back to the paying wallet, minus network fees.

My payout says pending. What now?

Nothing to do on your side. Payouts retry automatically, and a pending payout is sent as soon as it can be. You can follow the status in your history.

VIP, fairness and help

What does VIP give me?

A 30 day pass with a VIP badge next to your name and one free Bronze box every day. Renewals stack on top of the time you have left.

How do I know it is fair?

Every box is decided by two dice rolls, made from a secret we lock before you play and a seed of your own. On the Fairness page you can roll them again for any box and see that nothing was changed. It takes a second and needs no wallet.
